This past Friday

I'm not good at going places and doing things alone.  I am a very shy, introverted person.  Large crowds make me nervous as does talking with strangers, asking for help, meeting new people...all of it.

This past Friday, Cesar Millan, the Dog Whisperer came to Salt Lake.  I absolutely love his show and wanted very much to go see him.  Since the boyfriend was out of town for work and all my other dog loving friends were busy, I decided to be brave and go alone.

This turned into a whole event for me since I work downtown and didn't want to travel back and forth twice in one day.  I had a little "date night" for myself and the new City Creek mall and actually very much enjoyed being out and about on my own.  It wasn't frightening like I thought it would be, and I felt better doing something on a Friday night rather than just going home.  It was a nice change.

Meet Winston

Sir Winston loves the snow.  He is my dearest friend, confidant, partner in adventure, snuggler, and the best dog a girl could ever ask for.

Starting Again

For me, the past year or so has been a tremendous growing and learning experience.  I've become a lot more centered in myself, my life, and what I'm capable of.  I feel as though I am now on a journey to do and become what I want, whereas before, I wandered rather aimlessly.  With that in mind, I wanted to begin anew my blog.  I hope to share my adventures, passions, mistakes, trials, mundane doings, and ideas in case anyone else happens to be searching for companionship, sympathy, humor, or a friend.  I'm hoping to make this a more detailed look into myself beyond my current tumblr, twotablespoonsplease.tumblr.com.  For anyone of you came to visit from tumblr, welcome old friend.  For anyone new, I'm happy you stopped in.  Please feel free to ask me any questions or just leave a note.  I love how the internet and the blogging world connect people from all walks of life, all over the world, and I'd love to find out more about you.
